Gamaliel Cuicas: The Museum of Barquisimeto keeps an interesting history, it is a fairly calm, quiet place that transmits peace. I thought the recent restoration that was done to it was quite good and deserved, although I have rarely seen it open to the public.I wish they would have more major exhibits and not politicize this place so much.

Actualmente (sep-2022) se encuentra en proceso de restauración y no hay exhibiciones disponibles, pero tienen una pequeña exhibición de fósiles en la parte posterior (megaterio) que realmente vale la pena visitar.La guía del museo realiza un excelente trabajo y nos dirigió a la Galería Municipal que queda a pocas cuadras del museo y tienen una exhibición de pinturas disponible hasta las 3pm.

Yelitza Coromoto Perez: El gran museo Barquisimeto, hermoso tanto se fachada arquitectónico, dignó de administración, muchas historias expuestas al público como: el primer tres que existió en nuestro lindo Barquisimeto Edo Lara, Historia del caimán de sanare, también la primera imágen de la divina pastora y como fue cambiado la imagen, las monedas de nuestro estado Lara entre otros, pero creó que ya cerró sus puertas al público, siempre que tenía la oportunidad pasaba ahora la mayoría de veces está cerrado el museo queda en la carrera 15 entre calles 25 y 26

The monument at the bottom that they call "plaza" is very clean, there is free Wi-Fi and you can spend a very pleasant moment. At the time of going up to the viewpoint there was no light, however the experience of going up the stairs was great. We had a guide who gave the tour in a very pleasant way. Each explanation at home one of the breaks to get to step 296 was very good. Upon reaching the top, you feel the magic and satisfaction of seeing the immensity of nature. 100% recommended even for non-Catholics

En la primera visita solo recorrí el primer nivel, tienen algunos animales disecados y un gran variedad de peces en diferentes estanques y peceras.Tenían musica tradicional en vivo con una agrupación de niños.En la segunda visita había una expoferia universitaria, para esto tenían abierta el segundo nivel.Todas sus áreas verdes se encuentran en buen estado y mantenimiento. Aunque no funcionan las fuentes.Todo estaba muy limpio.Y las personas encargadas de allí son muy atentas.
